Artemis nailed it!

If your dog isn’t a fan of going to the vet, you’re certainly not alone. Plenty of pet parents struggle with vet visits, whether it’s with a dog who becomes nervous in the waiting room or a cat who refuses to get into her carrier altogether. Whatever the case may be, it’s all too relatable to see a pet owner having a difficult time at the vet.
Fortunately, many innovative veterinary offices have started implementing a new technique to help animals learn not to fear vet visits. Not only is it becoming more and more successful, but it’s also resulting in adorable moments like this one from Southern California’s Alicia Pet Care Center! The veterinary office shared the video from when a new patient–a puppy named Artemis–bonded with her new pals and even learned to howl. Talk about adorable!
OMG! Artemis, the Malamute puppy, couldn’t possibly be any cuter, and it’s easy to see why her friends from @apccvet couldn’t get any of their work done with her around. She was there for a ‘happy visit’ to help her get used to going to the vet without any tests or treatments–and she was a hit!
The circle of veterinary technicians teaching the puppy to howl had me grinning from ear to ear, but I practically melted when I saw the Malamute dog cuddled up in one of their arms! I already have puppy fever, and this little one sure isn’t helping. If I could, I’d be reaching through the screen to cuddle that puppy myself! Unsurprisingly, this tiny, fluffy dog had plenty of cuddle buddies after just a few minutes at the vet’s office.
